Blago to Daley, Madigan: Happy #$%@! Holidays!
In light of yesterday’s news report that Rod Blagojevich launched into an “expletive filled tirade” against Mayor Daley and Speaker Madigan over the never-ending transit crisis, the Illinois Republican Party today is launching a statewide soap drive to help clean up the Governor’s language — and the mess in Springfield.
“The Governor is quick to criticize others for their lack of participation in a meaningful process. However, his abusive language will not encourage a constructive dialogue or bring people together to solve the transit crisis,” said ILGOP Spokesperson Lance Trover. “That’s why we are launching a statewide soap drive to clean up the Governor’s language — and the mess in Springfield.”
When the cameras went off Wednesday, Andy Shaw of ABC 7 reported that Blagojevich went on an “expletive filled tirade” against Mayor Daley and Speaker Madigan. Blagojevich truly has stolen Christmas! How inappropriate and unprofessional is it to launch into a string of profanities not only in public and in front of reporters but also against your fellow state government leaders? Take some responsibility Blago, and get your act together.

I will send in an entire box of soap for this cause. As a mother, it is positively unacceptable for our elected officials to be talking in such profane language. His mother should wash his mouth out with soap!
