McKenna calls on Blago to oppose massive sales tax increase

I aso agree w/Mckenna, the government bodies should get the message that we have had enough! Lavish is the correct word, I’ve heard of the defined benifit pensions the government employees get, where all the companies have had to go to 401k’s and such.
Chicago tonight had a debate on the question of the Illinois legislature allowing a government-owned casino in Chicago. The way the legislation is written, they said that the City of Chicago would own it, and that would be the first of it’s kind. Unlike the other casino’s in the state. … with Chicago’s casino, there would be no outside oversite.
Here the city would have to police itself with it’s own casino? Where there are so many corruption issues that we hear about,…>>> the city can’t police itself!
There is no way that any City should own a casino.
