Congrats Democrats…For Nothing
It’s clear that the Democratic leadership of this state is lost in the land of unicorns and pixies - Not Springfield. Come home…Please come home! The hardworking men and women of Illinois need leadership not childish games.

The session breaks the old record of 54 days set three years ago. Lawmakers do not appear to be close to a settlement of the budget standoff.
The situation is so grim politically, they can’t even agree on the significance of Wednesday’s milestone. Governor Blagojevich says he is proud to be setting this overtime record, kind of like Barry Bonds and the home run chase, because, Blagojevich says, he is fighting for basic Democratic principles of more money for education and health care. But one Republican lawmaker is comparing Blagojevich to the captain of the Titanic, steering the ship of state toward an iceberg. Continue reading.

tax and spend tax and spend… Illinois should have a recall law like california. The Dems in Springfield need to stop wasting time and our money.

Passing part of a plan in socialized medicine should NOT be called “progress” in budget negotiations. Irresponsibility is NOT progress.

The current debacle in Springfield is offensive. Our (?) Democrat legislators need a reality check. Are they interested in a responsible and financially sound state or is their aim to gain more public attention?
